Best Places to Visit in USA
We have chosen a variety of the best places to visit in USA:

New York
On our first trip to the USA took us to New York. And in our opinion is one of the best cities to visit in USA.
There’s so much to see and do in this large city that we returned 10 years later for a second time. On both trips we discovered new places, saw the city change drastically and visited some of the same places we visited on our first adventure.
The magnificent 9/11 Memorial Pools has been the biggest change to New York within the last 10 years. After the sad events of September 11th 2001, ground zero was a whole in the ground. Move forward 10 years and we were pleasantly surprised.
The grand transporation hub and shopping complex replaces the old path and subway station. The design of the Oculus above ground was a lovely surprise.
The exact spot where the Twin Towers once stood is now the memorial pools. Etched into the side of the pools are the names of the people who lost their lives on that horrible day.
The area is now a place of reflection and remembrance.
On a more positive note, head to the bright lights of Time Square before heading to a Broadway show.
New York City is surprisingly a budget friendly city, with so many fee things to do. Take a walk around the green spaces in New York such as Battery Park, or what about the famous Central Park.
There’re so many more things to do in New York that we’d recommend spending at least one week in the city before heading off on your adventures around USA.

Washington DC
Washington DC is one of the best places to visit in USA on a budget. You can visit many of the capital’s tourist attractions for free.
Wander between the memorial such as Jefferson Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial, just to name a few.
As the night draws in, the Washington Monument eliminates in bright yellow. For the best Instagram picture, stand by the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool with the Washington Monument reflecting in the water, while the colours dance across the sky as the sun starts to set.
Visit one of the best places to eat in Washington DC, to finish off the day.

Niagara Falls
Visit Niagara Falls from either the USA side or the Canadian side! But which has the best views of the falls? We’ve heard the Canadian side is the best for views of the Falls. Yet we’ve never made it across the border to compare.
Stand beside the falls as thousands of gallons of water gush over the edge, creating a white mist at the bottom as the water hits the rocks.
As the darkness draws in, watch the fantastic light bounce off the water.
Take on the Maid of the Mist, as the boat takes you close to the horse shoe of Niagara Falls, with the mist spraying in your face.
Couples will enjoy the romantic atmosphere. Love is in the air!

Las Vegas
There’s so much to do in Las Vegas, that you won’t be disappointed. And you can actually visit Vegas on a budget. Yes, that’s right!
Wander the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip, stopping at the various luxury hotels along the way. Hotels to look out for are, Bellagio Hotel with the famous water fountain at the front, Paris Las Vegas with the Eiffel Tower, New York New York with the New York sky line, Luxor that will take you back to Egypt and so many more. All of which are free to visit.
Some hotels hold exhibitions such as the Luxor has the Titanic: The artifact Exhibition, Bodies: The Exhibition and many more.
If you’re prepared to spend a bit of money, all the hotels on the strip offer entertainment, such as Cirque du Soleil show, exhibitions, rollercoasters, Aquariums just to name a few.
Las Vegas is packed with so much to do in this desert, but you can spend as little or as much as you like. Which is why this has to be included into our list of the best places to visit in USA.

Grand Canyon
A day trip to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas is made easy with the many coach trips that drop you off at different points on the canyon ridge.
As the canyon formed over hundreds of years, so has the colour of the layers in the rock, with the Colorado River flowing through the canyon.
If you have more time, we would recommend staying in the Grand Canyon for a couple of days. Take on a more in-depth tour of the Grand Canyon, with a walking tour along the rim of the Canyon, or follow the walking routes down to the Colorado River below.
We loved visiting the Grand Canyon and can’t wait to return to spend more time here.
