Warsaw River View Hotel – Review
Only a short distance from the Vistula River, with a small selection of the rooms with views. But is this budget friendly hotel worth staying at, on your short holiday to Warsaw?
Warsaw River View Hotel is within a good location, only a short distance from the river, the main train station to the airport and to the main tourist sights of Warsaw.
But to help you make your decision on where to stay in Warsaw, we share our honest experience of at Warsaw River View Hotel.

Location:
Warsaw River View Hotel is in a prime location, with views across the Vistula River and the Metro Station just a few feet from the entrance.
Only a short walk from the direct train to and from Warsaw Airport and with the Metro outside the hotel, makes getting to the top tourist attractions in Warsaw simple and easy.
Service Provided at Warsaw River View Hotel
We really could not fault the service! From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, the service was outstanding. We arrived early and asked if we could put our bags somewhere until check in, the receptionist said our room was ready.
After check in, we asked if they had a map of Warsaw, the receptionist handed us a map, and highlighted the top tourist attractions we wanted to see, and gave some other options to.
Each morning, on request, the bar staff would kindly fill up our water bottles or pouches before we left for the day
All members of the staff are competent in speaking English
Overall, we couldn’t fault the service and would happily book a return stay, if we were planning another trip to Warsaw
Rooms
The rooms are a reasonable size, with a bed, small wardrobe to store our belongings and clothing and a desk and chair.
The bathroom however is a little compact, with a small shower, toilet and sink. While it might be compact, it was clean and had everything we needed for our stay in Warsaw.
Coffee and tea making facilities, along with a kettle is available in all rooms and a TV.

Food and drinks
The food in Warsaw River View Hotel was amazing! After ordering the meal, and it arriving at our table, we were surprised with the presentation, the smell and the taste, just incredible.
The presentation made it look like we had walked into a high-end restaurant in Warsaw, the smell of the food started the stomach juices, and the taste was better than the look and smell.
The dessert was just as good, the presentation and taste were just delicious, and definitely one we would recommend. You do not have to be a guest to eat at the Warsaw River View Hotel. So, if you want good food, at an affordable price, you must make a stop for a meal here.
The breakfast on the other hand, wasn’t as good as we were expecting. There wasn’t much of a range, and didn’t look as appetizing compared to lunch, we had the day before.
They served hot food such as scrambled eggs, courgette’s, and Polish sausages. Whilst the cold breakfast consisted of a small selection of cereal, cheese and some cold meat, bread, and a small selection of fruits and yoghurt. Tea, coffee, or juices were also available.
The food is definitely exceptional and reasonably priced.
Price
Poland in general, is a budget friendly country to visit, so staying in cheap hotels in Warsaw is definitely possible.
Warsaw River View Hotel is set to a high standard, but a very cheap place to stay.
The real highlight for the hotel is the price of the food in the restaurant.
We ordered 2 dishes, dessert and 2 drinks, all of this came to £25.00. Not only is the food outstanding, it is definitely reasonably priced, as we would spend way more than that for a meal in the UK. Bargain!
There is way more reasons to visit Poland and Warsaw than how cheap it is. The country is steeped in so much history and the food is delicious. Here are some other great reasons to visit Poland.
Cleanliness
Warsaw River View Hotel is kept to a very high standard, the room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was well stocked with all the amenities and clean.
The only small and minor negative was after check in, we went to our room, to leave our belongings, but noticed the bed wasn’t made.
We immediately notified hotel reception, who got a housemaid to make the bed. Within minutes, someone came and made the bed up.
This is just a minor issue, which the hotel resolved quickly.
We also noticed the restaurant area to be quite small, but there is some seating outside, when the weather is good.
Other than the small minor things we found; Warsaw River View Hotel is definitely our recommended place to stay on a short city trip in Warsaw.
Facilities
The facilities are basic here, with a small restaurant on site, with a few additional tables outside in good weather.
If you have a late flight, it is possible to leave your suitcases and luggage in a room next to reception. It should be safe to leave your luggage there, as we never experienced any problems. We would just recommend placing a padlock as a precaution and to deter your belongings from being stolen.
You don’t need a fancy hotel with all the facilities, if you’re only visiting for a short stay anyway.

Warsaw River View Hotel has everything you will need for a short trip to Warsaw. It ticks all the right boxes, it’s within a great location, cheap and easy to get from the hotel to the top tourist attractions.
