Warsaw River View Hotel might be the place for you! We give our honest opinion of our stay at the Warsaw River View Hotel. So you know what you will expect should you choose to stay.
When considering where to stay in a new location, the most important elements are always, the location, service, the rooms, food, price, cleanliness, and the facilities. Warsaw River View Hotel, ticks all of these boxes. Want to find out what we really thought, in our review of Warsaw River View Hotel:
Warsaw River View Hotel is in a great location just opposite the Vistula River, and a metro station just outside.
The hotels prime location makes getting to and from the airport easy, and taking a metro will get you to your next destination in minutes.
We really could not fault the service! From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, the service was outstanding. We arrived early and asked if we could put our bags somewhere until check in, the receptionist said our room was ready and we could check in.
After check in, we asked if they had a map of Warsaw, the receptionist handed us a map, and highlighted the top tourist attractions we wanted to see, and gave some other options to.
Each morning on request the bar staff would kindly fill up our water bottles or pouches before we left for the day
All members of the staff are competent in speaking English
The rooms are of a good size, consisting of a double bed, small wardrobe, and desk and table. The bathroom on the other hand was a little compact, with a small shower, toilet and sink. However, we don’t tend to spend that much time in the bathroom.
Food and drink:
The food in Warsaw River View Hotel was amazing! After ordering the meal, and it arriving at our table, we were surprised with the presentation, the smell and the taste, just incredible.
The presentation made it look like we had walked into a high-end restaurant in Warsaw, the smell of the food started the stomach juices, and the taste was better than the look and smell.
The dessert was just as good, the presentation and taste were just delicious, and definitely one we would recommend. You do not have to be a guest to eat at the Warsaw River View Hotel.
The breakfast on the other hand, wasn’t as good as we were expecting. There wasn’t much of a range, and didn’t look as appetizing compared to the lunch we had the day before. They served hot food such as scrambled eggs, courgette’s, and Polish sausages. Whilst the cold breakfast consisted of a small selection of cereal, cheese and some cold meat, bread, and a small selection of fruits and yoghurt. We could also have tea, coffee, or juices.
Poland is a budget friendly place to visit, and there is no exception with Warsaw River View Hotel.
The hotel is set to a high standard, but at a very reasonable and budget friendly price.
We were more surprised about the price of the food in the restaurant. We ordered 2 dishes, desert and two drinks, all came to under £25.00. The food was outstanding and felt it was reasonably priced, as we would spend way more than that in the UK for a meal. Bargain!
The hotel is very clean tidy, and to a very high standard. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was well stocked with all the amenities, and clean.
When we did arrive in our room, we noticed that our bed hadn’t been made, we raised this with the receptionist, who got a housemaid onto it straight away. Within minutes of us raising this small issue, the bed was made up, ready for us to go back in and get ready to explore Warsaw.
The restaurant is quite small, but they have extended some of the seating area outside when the weather is good.
At check out, if your flight is not until later in the afternoon, Warsaw River View Hotel has the facility to leave your luggage in a back room. This allows you to finish exploring Warsaw, and return at a later time to pick your luggage up.
We left our bags with them, and felt our belongings would be safe, but we did put padlocks on as a precaution.
Overall, our stay at the Warsaw River View Hotel was excellent, and we would stay there again if we are to return to Warsaw, and one we would recommend to you!
